The following are our terms and conditions of trade. We have made every effort to make them as simple and clear as possible. Placing an Order

  • You may place your order by using our on-line shopping facility, or telephoning us on 01223 830355.
  • Payment of your order can be by Credit or Debit card, either on-line, by telephone or in person at our premises. You can also pay, in person, or cash at our premises. We do not accept cheques.
  • All goods must be fully paid for at the time of order.
  • You will receive confirmation of your order shortly after placing your order. We may also contact you, by telephone or e-mail, to clarify your requirements and arrange delivery.
  • Delivery of your order will take approximately 10 working days. We can also arrange rapid delivery of stock items if required, please call for details.
  • All goods remain the property of Relaxer Beds until paid for in full.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure that you have adequate access to allow your purchase to fit into the room and position of your choice. Please ensure you have made any necessary measurements and contact us if you need advice or further product dimensions.
  • If you have a chronic medical condition (i.e. ongoing that is not likely to get better in the near future) you can talk to your local VAT office about VAT exemption.

 

Cancelling an Order

  • You may cancel your order at any time, until 7 working days after delivery has taken place.
  • If you cancel after delivery has taken place you will be charged a return delivery cost of £65.00.
  • Relaxer Beds will arrange for collection of the goods from the delivery address. The goods must be returned in perfect condition, and in their original packaging. Mattresses must not be used and should be in their original packaging bags.
  • All verbal cancellations must be confirmed in writing to: Relaxer Beds. The Granary. Rectory Farm. 3A Brewery Road. Pampisford. Cambridge. CB22 3EN

 

Damaged Goods

  • Please check for any damage caused in transit and it is essential that this is indicated on the carrier’s paperwork.
  • We will replace them free of charge. If we are unable to replace them we will refund you in full, providing any such damage is notified to us within 7 working days of delivery of the goods, in writing.
  • If you would prefer a full refund to replacement goods, we will gladly refund you, providing you have informed us within 7 working days of receipt of the goods, in writing.
  • We will replace complete items up to 3 months after delivery if they have a manufacturing fault, after this date we will replace parts only, up to 1 year from delivery of the goods.
  • We do not offer free replacement, or parts, after 1 year from delivery.
  • No collection charges will be made to you for collection of faulty goods or parts.

 

Privacy and Security

  • We take all security issues very seriously and accordingly use a high level of security in our payment section.
  • Your personal details will only ever be used for the purposes of processing your order. Your details will never be passed to a third party.

VAT Information - zero rating
If you have one of a certain number of ailments, your bed could be zero rated for VAT, this saves you paying the 20% VAT on your chosen bed. All prices shown are exclusive of VAT.

Back problems; Arthritis; Insomnia; Asthma; Hiatus Hernia; Swollen Ankles; Diabetes; Circulation Problems; Respiratory Conditions; Certain Heart Conditions; High Blood Pressure; Certain Neck and Shoulder Conditions; Chronic Neck and Shoulder Conditions; All Terminal Medical Conditions; Spondolosis; Parkinsons Alzheimers and many more

Conditions must be of a chronic nature (i.e. ongoing) if you are unsure whether you qualify you must contact your local VAT office, or the National Office on 0845 010 9000.

Please note:
It does not include a frail elderly person who is otherwise able-bodied or any person who is only temporarily disabled or incapacitated, such as with a broken limb.
